Common Sense 250 was founded in 2023 on a simple belief: a healthy democracy begins with healthy citizens.
As political divisions deepened and trust in institutions eroded, we chose a different path—one older than parties and bigger than politics. Instead of waiting on Washington, we focus on rebuilding self-government from the ground up.
Our mission is to reimagine constitutional democracy by uniting citizens across differences, restoring civic responsibility, and advancing practical reforms rooted in liberty, dignity, and common sense.
We support a new political process that begins with citizens—not parties, donors, or political theater.
Our Flagship Platform: JustCitizens.us
JustCitizens.us is the primary civic engagement platform supported by Common Sense 250. It is home to a growing Citizens Congress—everyday Americans who fund, discuss, and guide reform without party bosses or corporate influence. Members help shape priorities, participate in deliberation, and strengthen the habits required for a thriving republic.
Building What Comes Next
While JustCitizens.us is our only active platform today, additional initiatives are in development to expand civic learning, citizen deliberation, and policy engagement.
Each future effort will be designed with clear objectives to ensure transparency, drive accountability, and serve the common good as the movement grows.
